… is the container where professional musician, songwriter and teaching artist Celia Chavez synthesizes her years of training, creating and performing into thoughtful, challenging and inspiring learning experiences for both individuals and groups. Clients are encouraged to explore music in a physical way and embrace the whole of themselves in the practice of their artistry.
Celia (rhymes with HELL-yeah!) believes that music and harmony are universal languages that have the power to connect people and change the world. As a professional singer, she has toured across five continents and sung in venues from the tiniest dives to huge arenas like Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden. Her teaching is informed by the versatility, dynamism and stamina demanded from her over two decades of singing professionally, as well as the the vast repertoire, diverse musical styles,
Celia also is a published poet and writer and was recently long listed for the 2024 Fish Poetry Prize.

THE STUDIO
Located in the creative district of Santa Monica, Celia shares a studio with Simon Petty and Greg Johnson. The space has a warm, homey vibe and serves as the creative hub for recording, composing and teaching. With amenities such as a vocal booth, a raised stage, microphones, a PA and instruments, clients can work with Celia on anything from acoustic vocal performance to learning mic technique or how to work with a monitor mix.
