CELIA CHAVEZ guides ambitious, curious, and growth-motivated singers to greater understanding of their voice, authentic expression, deeper connection to song, and joyful performance. Her teaching style is shaped by nearly two decades as a professional singer and performing songwriter. On stage, on camera and in the studio, CELIA’s versatility and artistry have led to touring, recording and collaborations with top artists and composers as diverse as pop diva Pink; Latin star Enrique Iglesias; international songstress Julia Fordham; enigmatic rocker Brandon Flowers; jazz chanteuse Melody Gardot; reggae legend Burning Spear and LGBTQ icon Randy Rainbow. CELIA is also an engineer/producer who has helped many singers learn self-recording, studio singing skills and pro singer etiquette as co-founder of Empowered Singer Workshops. As a solo artist, she performs music from her latest project under a new creative identity, Babilonia as well as appearing with acoustic duo Petty Chavez.
